About

My photography journey started when my parents gifted me a Nikon COOLPIX S4300 16 MP Digital Camera for my 10th birthday. From a young age, I explored creativity in many forms—playing classical music for years, painting, and drawing. At that time, I captured simple snapshots of family, friends, and my hamsters, not realizing how deeply creativity was rooted in me. Eight years later, I purchased a Canon G7x Mark III, which sparked my love for vlogging and capturing fun, everyday moments. When I got married, my husband gifted me a Canon 90D as a wedding present, making me feel like a professional for the first time. Yet, I soon realized there was so much more to learn. I embraced the process, taking graduation and baby photos and helping with photography at my church. Reflecting now, I see how God used those experiences as valuable training opportunities.

My mother played an important role in my life and my two older brothers' lives. She was a stay-at-home mom who, with my dad's support, taught us the word of God. She always pushed us to do better and not be content with being ordinary. She taught me to always strive for excellence and never settle for less. She constantly reminded us to "do everything as unto the Lord" (Colossians 3:23), which has become a guiding principle in everything I do. Her guidance and wisdom have stayed with me, shaping my values and my approach to both life and my work.

I attended college for a few courses but struggled to find my true passion. Shortly after getting married, I discovered I was expecting a beautiful baby boy. While pregnant, I worked two part-time jobs to support my husband and our growing family. Just two months after giving birth, I returned to retail work, but my heart longed to be home with my son. I dreamed of homeschooling him and knew it wouldn’t be easy, but I was determined to find a way.

That led to the birth of Imagines Studios. Our goal at Imagines Studios is "capturing the essence of every bite." I realized I could pursue my love for photography—specifically capturing food photography for bloggers—while still providing for my family. With faith and the support of my loved ones, I used my savings to invest in this business. Imagines Studios has since become more than a career; it is a calling and a reflection of my passion for storytelling. Through all the trials, God has been so good, and I am grateful for the opportunity to honor life's moments while cherishing my role as a mother.
